Joining a beta program

To be able to test a Beta app, you should follow these instructions:

1. Open the Beta testing URL link in your Android device
2. If needed, sign in to your Google Account.
3. Select Become a tester.
4. If you don’t yet have the app on your device then tap on the link “download it on Google Play” and install the app from there.
5. The switch to the beta version is like a typical update. You won’t lose any data or settings.

Leave a beta program

Important: When you leave and uninstall a beta app, you may lose your progress and any customizations you made to the app.

1. Open the Play Store.
2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
3. Tap Manage apps & devices → Beta.
4. Find the app you want to leave.
5. Tap the app to open its detail page.
6. Under “You’re a beta tester," tap Leave.
